Golden Shadow

It's that time of the year again when my local SORRELLI dealer is having her Holiday trunk show!
So of course I had to give some of the pieces a test run!
Yeah, the pieces are pretty drool worthy!
Get ready to see some GORGEOUS crystal that will be available at the trunk show on November 21 and 22 just in time for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Years!
It's going to be pretty epic!
If you're Local I hope to see you there!!!
I'm wearing some of the Golden Shadow collection by SORRELLI and a Vintage lace top that buttons in the back.
The eyeshadow is from the urban decay Naked 3 palette and the lipstick is Fabulous Fig from Revlon.

Golden Rod

So this time of year is my favorite time and these beautiful weeds as my dad calls them are partly to blame!
Of course they drive my allergies crazy and I sneezed multiple times taking these pictures but I think it was worth it!
The lace dress is from click the link to see more of their pretty and affordable dresses!!!
So I'm always doing OOTD's and this time I'm being super real!
Right after taking the pictures in the pretty dress I had to get into my work clothes!!!
My family and I helped to move a sweet little old lady into her new home and so I thought I would show my other outfit for that day!
The overalls are meant for a little boy but my sweet mom picked them up for me at a thrift store for my less than glamorous photo shoots when I'm behind the camera laying in the dirt!
And no I don't have my pants tucked into my boots, they just come up that far (Which is a problem I unfortunately never have)!
To quote Cher Horowitz "I wanna be 5'10 like Cindy Crawford."
But alas I am not and it is okay, I'm travel size!
Always look at the positive people!
The sweet little old lady is all moved in and we can't wait to visit her again!
She gave me an excellent recipe for crab cakes!!!
Now if I can just remember to do it! ;)

Tiny Adventure

Our tiny adventure in Naples with my handsome man.
While walking along the path Colton yelled "holy huge!" expecting a large snake I may have screamed and jumped a little bit.
I was not expecting this huge grasshopper to be the cause of his exclamation!
While walking along the trail we noticed a small white board pointing in a general direction and stating that a Brown Barred Owl was sitting in a tree.
We laughed and said, "Yeah, like that owl is still there!"
Then I looked up while the guys were still cracking jokes when I said "Oh my goodness! He really is!!!"
The joke was on us!
Apparently these guys are active in the daytime and nighttime  and when they find a fishing spot they like to chill there for awhile!
No matter how old I get I think of Fern Gully when I see these guys!
Needless to say this animal preserve was pretty spectacular!
And I plan on going back in the cooler months when it is supposed to be more populated with animals!
A different owl on a different tree within ten feet of us!
A mushroom because I thought it looked like a cute Lion.
We saw two or three types of woodpeckers that day.
Always prepared, I had my backpack on as well with our contraband snacks inside!
We weren't supposed to eat on the trail...
I'm not saying we ate anything and I'm not saying we didn't either!
Obviously I have achieved stalker status with the picture taking.
But then he caught me and blocked my shot!
Of course Colton didn't mind photobombing in the back!
If you can't stop someone from doing something they aren't supposed to, you might as well take pictures of it right?
Colton was probably 15ft up a tree climbing on the vines like Tarzan.
Of course I had my 75-300 mm lens on to shoot the animals so he doesn't look that far away at all!
Apparently this bird is very rare and the volunteer we ran into on the trail who is a seasoned bird watcher said that this bird eluded him for many years, so of course I had to take a picture of it!
And I forgot the name!
Almost at the end of our trail we ran into this big guy who didn't even bat an eyelash at us!
He was at least 12ft and very content.
Colton being our marker to show just how huge this tree was he couldn't get close enough to be very accurate but I think you get the picture!
This tree was here before Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue!
And Finally my handsome man and I at the restaurant that his dad has been taking him to every year on his birthday since he was 11!
Thank you to Mike for being such a great host and embracing all of my weirdness!!!
And to all of you who sat and looked at every single one of my pictures thank you!!!!
I've been a little bit busy lately so the posts have dwindled a little bit but I'm still here and it's already Fall!!!
The best time of the year!!!!

Tree Folk

My brothers are so handsome and kind for letting me use them as models and photographers!
This one is Chase and he was so sweet to let me style him for this shoot!
There are a couple of things I would have done differently but I used everything that he and I already had so we MADE IT WORK!!!
Something I think is a very useful skill to have!
I think his outfit turned out pretty well if I do say so myself! ;)

Chase helping me onto the tree, which is not a big branch but the trunk of the tree that bent sideways and continued to grow like that random I know but cool just the same!
Here in Florida we have a little bit longer to go before the actual Fall temperatures are here but we can dress for it anyways, right?

Candids are the best! Although he almost knocked me off of the tree when he put his arm on my shoulder... He also thought it was hilarious... I did not.

 This is another dress c/o
You can click the link to see their entire online selection!
I wore this outfit to church (Minus the hat) and I liked it so much I decided it needed to be documented!
Mom said Chase and I looked like we were headed to Coachella, I wouldn't mind that at all! ;)
The belt is a Brighton and the necklaces are from all over!
The black one is vintage and the rest are a part of my ever growing collection of pretty things!
This hat is my new FAVORITE and it is from I bought it from their physical location but I believe you can also order from them online!
They have a huge selection of Hats, Boots and really so many things you should probably go check them out yourself! ;)
They are family owned and operated and are so sweet!
You will be happy you bought from a small business!!!

Mom took over the camera because Colton couldn't take the mosquitoes any more!
If you look on the inside of my left leg you can see one of my battle scars! >_<
Chase is killing it and he doesn't even try!
I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful family that supports me in all of my endeavors!
Who endures getting attacked by mosquitoes and wearing thick sweaters even though its a tad warm out!
I Couldn't have done it without you guys!
