Red and The Wolf

 Red
 and the Wolf.
For once I'm photo bombing him!
Diesel's thoughts: That is one strange little gnome.
 Costume change aka practically pajamas.
I changed into something I didn't mind getting on the ground in and then I ended up having way more fun than I do in regular outfit posts so i decided to post them baggy shirt and all!

 Follow me!
I run like a girl! ;)
 I am a Lion.
(And I gave in to the stereotypical hair flip)
I regret nothing.

 Damp words on damp paper.
The humidity in florida is so high I am convinced that we are mermaids down here.

  Here's Colton!
I have the best brothers in the world!
This coat is my favorite simply because of this dramatic hood and you know howI love dramatic clothing!
Can you tell how "well rested" I am?
I could probably edit those under eye circles out but I keep it real for you guys! ;)

Mean muggin' 'cause I'm so hood!
I hope you enjoyed these!
I know I had fun taking them!

Ponytails and Ponies

My current favorite sweater, I've been trying to blog it for so long but I always seem to wear it on super busy, no fuss days!
So here it is the elusive equine covered sweater!
I paired it with this deep coral floral print blouse.
I bought both items from Old Navy, this was the first time I had been to Old Navy in forever and I was very pleased with the outcome!
The purse is DKNY and one that my mom and I share.
So this blog post was my first attempt at taking outfit pictures on my own with my new tripod and this picture is just a taste of the mass of blurry pictures I captured!
I had to share at least one! ;) Look how beautiful the trees behind me came out!
The boots are actually a lot lighter in color than how they are appearing in the photo but that's okay!
These were my first ever boots with a heal and I still love them to this day!
I normally never wear pink lip anything but I'm branching out and trying to expand my horizons!
This is a mix between two NYX butter glosses first peach cobbler and then strawberry parfait on top of that.
It's good to try new things every so often!
Even things you have tried once before, you might decide your tastes have changed and you actually like it now!

So here it is my very first self taken outfit post!
It wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be!
Who knows, maybe I will start doing fashion videos next!
Only time will tell, so stay tuned!!!

Vanity Fair

Welcome to the wedding expo that took place in the Chipley AG center.
I was asked to help decorate the BrennaBeauty booth as well as be a hair model by Brenna.
Here are some behind the scenes photos from before, during and after the wedding expo.
Brenna and Caroline carefully selecting the pictures of hair and makeup work from Brenna's portfolio.
I helped of course but someone had to document! :)
The idea for the booth was a vintage vanity set up.
I always get nostalgic when I see an old vanity and wonder how many times and how many people have used it for putting on their lipstick and making sure their hair was just right.
Although I didn't bring my entire vanity I did bring a few pieces that rest on it everyday.
We displayed several photos in one large vintage frame by placing Brenna's card holder behind the frame and propping the entire thing against a metal dress form that Caroline has had for years.
Brenna's business cards and seashell collection.
The bridal bouquet that we used was actually Brenna's mother's from her wedding day!
Just a fun fact for everyone! ^_^

Finishing touches.
And we were open for business!!!
More vintage details!
The jewelry box is one of my favorite vintage finds and one of the things I keep on my own vanity!
Brenna and her two hair models!
Caroline on the left and me on the right!
While I didn't wear a wedding dress I did wear a vintage white dress that was reminiscent of one!
The dress was one that I got from Kim of SassySisterVintage and it's one of my favorites!
A closeup of crazy gorgeous Caroline!
Spanish moss is so pretty and one great indicator that you are in the south!
The sun was directly in my face but this is the only picture that really shows the entire dress at once!
Brenna of BrennaBeauty the lovely lady herself does hair, makeup as well as photography for all of your special occasions!
Like her Facebook page BrennaBeauty for more information and ways to contact her!

Thank you to Brenna for asking me to come along to the wedding expo and for doing my hair!
Especially for letting my camera crash the party!!!
OH! And for taking these pictures after the day at the expo was over!

SKIN CARE and all that jazz ^_^

Everyone has different skin but this is the system that tends to work for me!
I have oily skin so I use Cetaphil for normal to oily.
I've tried other face washes and this one has just become my go to!
I also take a one fish oil capsule twice a day in the morning and at night!
The Clarisonic Aria was a birthday present and I use it about once a week sometimes more depending on how my skin feels!
Magic in a tub... My holy grail night cream and daily moisturizer with spf!
If my skin is particularly in need of rejuvenation I use the night cream before I put my makeup on!
Both are obviously products by OLAY and I am constantly recommending them to my friends and family!
Which is why I'm sharing this in the first place, I wanted you guys to know about my favorite moisturizers!!!
If I had to pick one of the two, I would have to go with the firming night cream!
It just makes my skin feel so nice!!!
And it DOES NOT break me out which is a big deal breaker when it comes to face cream!
Like I said before not everyone's skin is the same and so it will not react in the same way but I thought some people might be interested in trying something new!
Here comes the disclaimer!!!
I do not have perfect skin by any means!
I wish I did, however that is not the case, I get break outs, scars and uneven skin tones like every normal person out there!
These are just the steps I take to try to keep my skin under my control instead of the other way around!
Thankfully I don't break out as much as I did in middle school (Worst three years of my skin's life)!
It could be due to the fact that I take care of my skin a lot better than I used to!
So if you are how I used to be and think to yourself "I just wish it would go away" and then you don't do anything about it then stop that right and start taking care of your skin NOW!!!
Find the system that works for you and stick with it because it won't clear up over night.
This is important for guys and girls!
Be confident in the skin you're in because with or with out blemishes you WILL shine brighter with confidence!

These are all of the things I wish I had payed attention to during the tween dark ages of my life.
No joke, I kept my hair in my face like the girl from The Breakfast Club, I was so insecure about my skin!
You can do it!
Be aggressive and do not stress out about pimples, it can cause more to pop up and it's a vicious cycle!
